Music School

The Education Department also runs the music school. It covers elementary levels and instrumental instruction. Learning an instrument begins with admission to the instrumental level after the necessary bases have been laid in the elementary level.


Organisation
The music school is run by a head music teacher who is supported by the music school secretariat.

The Music School Commission prepares important aspects of the music school and supervises the running of the school.


Types of instruction
In the elementary levels the following courses can be followed:
1.– 3. Basic courses
2.– 3. Flute courses
2.– 3. Xylophone courses

Instrumental stages:
According to instrument, instrumental instruction begins from Class 1 and is given up to the age of 20.
