Financial Support
Within the Swiss-European mobility programme (SEMP), PH Zug provides incoming students with a grant. The amount depends on the country of origin (see table). The grant is calculated for a fix duration of 5 months per semester. Students from countries that don't take part in the Erasmus+ programme are also eligible for a grant through the Swiss-European mobility programme.

Students which arrive by train will get an additional Green Travel grant of 200 CHF. In addition, PH Zug will pay for a half-fare card for visiting students, enabling them to benefit from reductions on all public transport (train, bus, tram, and even some boats and cable cars) in Switzerland. Additionally, a Zuger Pass Travelcard is provided for certain zones in Zug.
Living expenses in Switzerland are relatively high, and PH Zug will do what it can, in addition to the above-mentioned support, to help visiting students contain their costs, for example by providing them with affordable housing and other discounted offers.
