In tax terms, Hünenberg is one of the most favourable municipalities in Switzerland. At 65 % of the standard cantonal rate, Hünenberg imposes the fourth lowest tax rate. The Roman Catholic community Church tax rate amounts to 9 % and the Protestant/Reformed community Church tax rate amounts to 8.5 % each. Cantonal tax is levied at 80 % of the standard cantonal rate.
