The Municipality of Hünenberg is one of the eleven municipalities of the Canton of Zug. It nestles in the beautiful landscape of the Alpine foothills between the Lake of Zug - or Zugersee - and the River Reuss. To the west, Hünenberg borders on the Canton of Aargau and to the north on the Canton of Zurich. This once rural community has, thanks to far-sighted planning, developed into a much sought-after residential and living area with a growing population.
